For students and teachers
Religious studies, side by side
Every religious studies syllabus asks students to study two or more religions and compare them. That is the part most resources leave to you, because they explain one tradition at a time.
Every page here answers a single question across seven traditions at once, so the comparison is already on the page. Choose the qualification you are studying.

What this is, and what it is not
These are our ordinary answer pages, grouped by the themes each syllabus examines so they are easier to find. They are not a revision guide, not exam preparation, and not affiliated with or endorsed by any awarding body. The specification your school follows is the authority on what you need to know, and your teacher is the authority on how to answer it.
What we can offer is the comparison, done carefully and in one place, with each tradition described in its own terms rather than measured against somebody else’s.
