- Questions you ask. The questions you submit are stored and processed to generate and publish answers. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in your questions, as approved questions and answers may be published publicly.
- Account information (when accounts launch), such as your name and email address.
- Usage and device data collected automatically via cookies and analytics, such as pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type.
- Payment information (for future paid features) is handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card details.
How we use your information
- To provide and improve the service, including generating answers.
- To understand how the site is used (analytics) and improve it.
- To operate accounts, process payments and respond to enquiries.
- To keep the service secure and comply with our legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics

AI-generated answers
Answers are generated using a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). The text of your question is sent to that provider to produce an answer. Generated answers may be reviewed by us and published on the site.
Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the site, acting on our instructions: our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our hosting/deployment platform (Vercel), our AI provider (Anthropic), Google Analytics, and, for future paid features, our payment provider (Stripe). We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK (including the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Published questions and answers may remain available indefinitely.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
