She made ordinary days feel like something worth keeping.
Margaret, known to everyone as Peggy, was a schoolteacher, a keen gardener and the warm centre of a large and happy family. She spent almost thirty years teaching at the same primary school, and she is remembered for her patience, her open front door, and a pot of tea that was always on.

Service

We warmly invite you to join us as we celebrate Peggy's life and give thanks for all she gave. Your presence would mean a great deal to the family.

Mum, thank you for everything. The roses you planted are still blooming, and we think of you every time they do. There will never be another quite like you.

Peggy taught two of my children and half the street besides. Every one of them remembers her kindness. A wonderful teacher and an even better neighbour.

Forty years in the choir stalls and never a Sunday missed if she could help it. We will miss her voice, and her laugh even more.
